View of the great room from the loft. We built the trusses on the site using laminated timber, steel plates, a very large circular saw and a crane to set them in place. (Lincoln Street Studio, Columbus, Ohio)
The architect’s studio in the loft, 180 degrees opposite the previous view. Wide maple drawers were made to store architectural drawings and the homeowner choose antique barn siding for the floor boards.
Mark’s new, Upper Arlington den sets a new standard for man caves. We converted a screened-in porch into this beautiful living space. The large bay windows make the room bright and inviting.
The bookshelves and desk were hand-built using two varieties of cherry wood.
This living room was transformed in a total renovation of a 50-year-old home. Dark wood paneling was removed to give the room a light atmosphere, and take advantage of its beautiful views on the Big Darby Creek.
